My first full complete image since about 6 months ago. I grinded through this despite still combating less than average conditions in central Florida. Over the several nights I captured these frames, seeing was average only 1 night, transparency was consistently below average, and the humidity ranged from 89-98%. These ideal seeing and transparency conditions, along with the Bortle 7 sky makes it tough for me, at least, to get decent nebulosity. Hopefully, my processing skills will continue to improve to help counterbalance these issues.

One major change is I ditched the 0.7x focal reducer as my peripheral stars were horrible. They are better now but I have ordered a customized adapter from PreciseParts in an attempt to better fine tune the stars in the corners. Also, this was my first complete image using the ASI6200mm Pro, NINA as the capturing software, and Topaz Denoise.

Hope you like it as I am pleased but feel free to provide suggestions for improvement.

Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.
Promotions by Submitters When 3 distinct Submitters promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for Top Pick status. This requirement, in addition to anonymization of images and distribution to only a subset of them, prevents biases and ensures that the best images are selected.

Early dismissal Staff members have a lot of images to inspect on a daily basis, and they can dismiss images if they believe they don't meet the requirements for IOTD/TP selection.
